A MAN had to be coaxed down from a 30-foot bridge in central Basildon after threatening suicide.
Police cordoned off the length of Broadmayne yesterday lunchtime while specially-trained officers spent nearly two hours talking the man down.
It was the second time in three days he had scaled the bridge.
