A MAN fears he will be scarred for life after being pushed through a glass door in Southend.
The 28-year-old, from Hockley, suffered a deep puncture wound to his lower abdomen and horrific facial injuries which needed 60 stitches.
He was pushed from behind on the concourse of Southend Victoria rail station through the window of the Monk and Fisherman pub.
He was told that blood spurted out of his stomach wound "like a hosepipe".
The man is appealing for witnesses to call transport police and give a description of the person responsible.
He said: "I was pushed from behind. I didn't see who did it - suddenly my head was pushed through a window."
The man, who does not wish to be named, lost three front teeth from the blow and shards of glass tore deep cuts from his lip to his ear and across the top of his left eye.
He also needed 15 stitches to his wrist from the unprovoked attack at 11pm on Friday.
