HEAVY rain has caused another landslip on Southend cliffs.
Police closed part of the seafront to traffic after mud, sand, water and stones fell into the road in the early hours of yesterday.
The slippage affected a section of of Western Esplanade, Westcliff, around Clifton Drive, where Victorian drains were unable to cope with the huge volume of rain.
