When it comes to cutting edge, Darren Currie's woeful penalty summed up the day for sorry Ipswich Town.

There were some positives about the way they played, especially defensively and in the form of heroic goalkeeper Lewis Price.

But, in terms of attacking threat, this was a hugely disappointing afternoon - typified by Currie's weak effort which was gratefully smothered by keeper Paddy Kenny.

That came around the hour-mark and represented Town's only chance to salvage something from a miserable afternoon at Bramall Lane.

They created nothing else of note - and were lucky to only be one goal behind at half-time.

Then, with the contest drifting into injury time, Kabba latched on to Quinn's through ball, surged clear of the defence and slid a low shot beyond Price.

It was no more than the hosts deserved and provided a more truthful reflection of the balance of play.
