Grays Athletic 2 Kidderminster Harriers 2

AS Grays manager Mark Stimson said afterwards,'You can't leave early when watching Grays Athletic.'

After several last gaps goals this season, the Blues maintained their unbeaten record thanks to a late, late equaliser when Harriers keeper John Danby palmed the ball into his own net three minutes into injury time.

Both sides had fought out an eciting, if goalless first half with the visitors slightly having the edge and home stopper Ashley Bayes having to be at his best to make several fine stops.

The deadlock was broken on 48 minutes when Iyseden Christie pounced in the box to net from close range.

It took Grays just five minutes to get back on level terms when Gary Hooper produced a clinical finish after unslefish work by Tony Battersby.

The game was ebbing and flowing now, and it was Harriers who were to take the advantage agaian on 63 minutes, courtesy of another Christie effort.

However Grays were determnined not to be undone and mounted a series of late attacks, culminating in that late mistake by Danby.
