Chelmsford Swimming Club returned to Riverside Ice & Leisure last week following the third closure of the club's home pool in as many years.
Chief Coach, Robin Springett said: "It is great to be back at Riverside. It has been a difficult time for the club but we have managed to keep swimming.
"We have been using several pools in and around Chelmsford and on Sunday nights we have taken the competition squads over to Basildon.
"Our Masters and Disabled Sections have been to Felsted School, while our Water Polo, Life Saving and adult lessons have been using school pools in Chelmsford.
"We were unable to run most of the children's lessons, although the 'little ones' were able to start back when the learner pool re-opened in November. So we are glad to be getting back to normal in the New Year."
The club is now intending to hold a New Year recruitment drive to boost membership back to the 500 mark it reached in 1997.
The club welcomes members old and new, so anybody who may be interested in joining, or finding out more information, is invited to telephone Robin Springett on 01245 346281
