A row in a taxi queue outside a nightclub led to the arrest of clubber Neil Meddle by police for being drunk and disorderly.
The 24-year-old of Woolshots, Wickford, pleaded guilty at Southend Magistrates Court to being drunk and disorderly in Lucy Road, Southend, in the early hours of December 6.
Meddle said he had seen red when two women climbed into a taxi which should have been his.
He was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £50.
