The ladies section at the Forrester Park Golf Club played a Team Texas Scramble last week on a bright, sunny morning.
Winners were Elspeth Williams, Anne Straker, Doreen Mortlock with a score of 71.53. Runners-up were Mary Wood, Marion Stains, Muriel Loveridge with 72.0.
In the men's section the Winter league has now progressed to the semi finals with Corn-well, Atkinson, Bond, Angland, Drage and Francis going through with matches to be played on March 14.
The competition for the Vets on Wednesday last week and for the men the March Medal scheduled for last Sunday were both cancelled due to adverse weather conditions having affected the course which made it unplayable.
