Forget Becks and Posh or Edward and Sophie - one couple had the ultimate wedding reception ...in a chippy.
John Featonby and Natalia Cuprienco knew exactly where they wanted to celebrate their marriage.
They opted for John's workplace, M&A Fish Bar in Rosemary Road, Clacton. The happy couple were married at Colchester Register Office on Thursday. They were then whisked off to a slap-up meal at the restaurant.
Balloons, flowers and wine were present as about 20 friends and family tucked in.
John, 42, of New Way, Jaywick, has worked in M&As for 14 months and met his bride - a university lecturer in languages - there.
Moldovan-born Natalia, 43, was visiting Clacton in February when she met John. John was at least saved from having to work at his own reception. "I'm having the day off," he said.
