Gangsters and their molls were on hand to serve diners in Basildon - and even encouraged gambling on the roulette wheel.
Staff at TGI Friday's, on Basildon's Festival Leisure Park, donned their best suits and Charleston dresses for a night of pretend gambling. A roulette wheel was set up in the American diner for customers to try and win the most during the theme night.
The lucky gambler to pocket the most pretend cash was presented with a free meal for two.
Other prizes up for grabs during the night of entertainment were two tickets to see Oh What A Night in London, a beauty day for two at Kingswood, plus T-shirts from Smirnoff - one of the evening's sponsors.
All cash raised on the night is to go to Basildon Hospital's children's ward.
