A great 6-0 home win over Somersett Ambury V and E saw Canvey through to the third qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup at Park Lane last night.
Liam Bright grabbed a hat-trick and single strikes from Dean Clarke, Jamie Robinson and Chris Elms saw the Islanders through to join Basildon United, who have already qualified.
Hoping to join them tonight will be Great Wakering Rovers, who have a replay at Kingsbury Town, and Southend Manor, who go to Braintree Town.
Then tomorrow Hullbridge Sports take on Hornchurch.
