Swifts will be looking to bounce back from their sad FA Cup exit when they go to Aylesbury for a Ryman League Premier Division match on Saturday.

Without the distraction of the cup, Swifts can now start to get their league form rolling, and there will be no better place to do so than at fellow strugglers Aylesbury, where a result is crucial to restore morale to the team and spectators alike.

Manager Robbie Nihill will have some tough decisions to make over this line up, but confidence is still high, the team have shown that they are able to win and win well at this level, consistency is the key.

Leaving Swifts are Terry Rayner and Simon Marshall who have both gone to Wivenhoe.

Swifts Reserves returned from Sawbridgeworth with a fine 4-3 win on Saturday, Kris Lee recovering from a pre-season injury to hit a brace for the second game running, one goal each for Dave Kreyling and Jermaine Dominique.

Mark Hawkes and Steve Cornwell are developing a formidable unit and hopefully Dave McKrory will be available for selection following his release from Halstead Town.

Swifts Under 16 team completed their warm up with a 4-2 defeat under lights at Purfleet, with outstanding goals from Craig Ewing and Alan Gardner.

In their first league game on Sunday at Hullbridge, Sports, Ewing scored again, the only goal of the game, assisted by Gardner and Nick Robbins. Stand-in keeper Ryan Simpson was excellent but the team are looking for a regular keeper;

The Under 18 side also need a linesman to travel with the team -- Pat Garrett is the person to contact at the club if anyone can help.

Ben Warren, Dean Robbins and Stefan Falla who have all been selected for the Essex County Under 18 squad.
