A 74-year-old golfer is celebrating his first hole in one after more than 20 years in the sport.
Charlie Cutts, of Frobisher Road, Dovercourt, struck lucky while on the back nine of a round at the Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club.
Charlie started playing golf in his early 50s but said he had never played so well in his life.
He said: "This was on the 14th hole and there were two chaps who were ahead of us and when they put their hands in the air I knew it had gone in."
Despite his success Charlie remained modest. He said: "I'm not that good."
