Motorists are set for new year traffic disruption on the A13.
Three sets of roadworks are due to get under way this month. Firstly, the London Road junction with Romsey Road in Benfleet is to be affected by work on a sewer connection for Wimpey Homes. This will last from January 4 to January 7.
Further work at the London Road junction with Manor Road on footway resurfacing and at Furtherwick Road, Canvey, is also due to begin on January 24.
The B1014 will also be hit at Point Road to Zelham Drive on the Island due to a BT mains operation. Slight delays are expected from January 7.
