Ridleys the Essex Brewer, are accepting invitations for people to participate in this year's charity golf day in aid of the Chelmsford and District Cardiac Support Group, on Tuesday, September 26.

Although last year's event was wet, over £1300 was raised which was used to provide an artificial heart and a television/video system for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at Broomfield Hospital.

This was due to the fantastic support that was received from guests who were extremely generous on the day.

Channels Golf Club in Little Waltham will be the venue for this years 18 hole individual stableford competition which is followed by a three course meal, presentation, raffle and auction.

The cost for the day is £35 per person inclusive. Anybody wishing to participate should contact Lesley Smith on 01371 820316 extension 612.

The event will conclude with an auction, for dinner with Ridleys free trade representative Darren O'Shea. This is one for the ladies and is not to be missed. Sealed bids are welcome.

For further information telephone Jackie Davies at Ridleys on 01371 820316 extension 618.
