AN anxious mum has told of her fears for her sons' safety after the bus they were due to catch to school next month has been axed. Gavin Chinery, 13, is a pupil at the Colne Community College in Brightlingsea and his 11-year-old brother, Ben, is due to start there next month. The pair were due to catch the 127 service from Clacton, where they live, leaving at 8.05am and returning on the 3.05pm. But First Eastern National has chopped them both from the timetable as there were not enough customers using the bus. Karen Chinery, of Clacton, said her sons would now have to catch two buses - changing at the busy Thorrington crossroads - rather than just one on the way there, and the same on the way back.
