A fine team performance from Premier Division Trinity Boys saw them through to the final of the Southend Junior League's Under-13 Cup.

Two goals apiece from Scott Richards and Dominic Hoskins, plus a single strike from Wesley Aldridge, saw them to a 5-0 success over Division A Rayleigh Boys.

In the same age group, a good second-half performance saw Rockets pull off a 4-2 win over Parkside Swifts in the B Division. Shane Rollins netted two for the winners.

Canvey Orient were rewared for their efforts in finding a school pitch on which to play their under-11 Premier Division match with Elmwood Colts when they won 6-2 with Rouse and Gregan scoring two apiece.

Only other match in this age group saw Division A goal ace O'Neil go nap with five as Dons beat Chalvedon Boys 9-1. Lambourne grabbed a hat-trick.
