Burst pipes forced teachers to shut down Hadleigh Infant School - just weeks after the nearby junior school was closed because of a gas leak.
More than 240 children have been at home since Tuesday after teachers discovered a major leak in a pipe serving the main boiler at the school in Bilton Road.
Headteacher Valerie Thompson said they planned to reopen the school today when workmen had finished repairs but added that they were growing increasingly concerned about the state of the 36-year-old building.
