Canvey Island's under-16 side are matching the achievements of the club's senior side.
They beat Clacton 3-1 to win a place in the Essex Cassells Shield final. Gulls looked the stronger team in the first-half and were rewarded with a goal from captain Liam Nicholson.
Clacton stepped up a gear in the second-half but could not stop Canvey scoring again, this time through Perri Hicks.
Clacton replied with a goal, but their fate was sealed when Steve Corbell slotted home a late penalty for the Islanders.
Back in the Eastern Junior Alliance, Basildon United went down 1-0 at home in the under-18 South-West Section to Leyton Pennant.
In the Southern under-16 league, Southend Manor had a 5-2 win over Cambridge City.
