Billericay Town will be hoping to end a run of four games without a win tomorrow (Saturday) when they visit former boss John Kendall's current club, St Albans.

Having been knocked out of two cup competitions in four days, Town have drawn their last two Ryman League Premier Division games 1-1.

Last Saturday they disappointed at New Lodge against relegation strugglers Harrow Borough, but should have won the game when sharing the spoils by the same scoreline at second-placed Gravesend on Tuesday.

That draw ended a run of ten straight League successes for the Kent side, second in the table but hampered on the night by having to use three goalkeepers!

The first was forced off with a hand injury and his replacement was sent off. Town boss Gary Calder admitted: "Although we would certainly have settled for a draw at Gravesend before the kick-off, we should certainly have won the game in the second-half.

"We missed some good chances after the break and to return with just one point was ultimately disappointing."

Although defender Kevin Jordan looks set to be fit to return to the squad after injury, an Achilles problem could sideline midfielder Paul Linger.

One well-known name in the St Albans squad is former Southend United striker Neville Roach, who has joined the Hertfordshire club on his return to England after a spell playing for Australian side Eastern Pride.

Billericay will make their last attempt to stay involved in a knockout competition next Tuesday when they visit Northwood in the Ryman League Cup.
