PREMIER DIVISION

Tillingham Hotspur led visitors Hannakins Farm 3-0 at half-time and shortly after the restart increased their lead to 4-0.

Hannakins, who were reduced to 10 men through injury, staged a fine comeback and netted three goals to put the result in doubt against a home side who went to pieces, but Tillingham held on to scrape a win.

The Tillingham goalscorers were Swanborough, Chapman, an own goal and Kristian Down.

Dave Robinson (3) and Marcus Bragg were on target forMarconi in their 4-2 win over a spirited Outwood Common side.

DIVISION ONE CUP SECOND ROUND

Mundon Vics returned from their visit to Marconi Reserves with a 5-2 victory, George Opoku and manager Andy Barker netting the Marconi goals.

White Roding have hit outstanding form recently and followed up the previous week's nine goals against Tillingham Hotspur Reserves by thrashing Outwood Common Reserves 10-2.

DIVISION TWO CUP SECOND ROUND

Unbeaten Old Brentwoods narrowly defeated visitorsMoulsham Lodge 4-3 to reach the semi-finals.

The Old Boys led 3-1 at the interval but were quickly pulled back level after Moulsham scored twice.

However, Danny Buttleman with his second goal in the closing minutes gave the old boys victory. Old Brentwoods' other goals were netted by Sloane and Ward.

DIVISION TWO CUP SEMI FINAL

Old Chelmsfordians progressed to the final with a 1-0 win over Ravens Reserves who conceded an own goal in the second half of their tie.

DIVISION TWO

Frenford gained quick revenge for the previous week's defeat by Bradwell by winning the return 4-0, Paul O'Keefe, John O'Neill and Peter Liddell (2) the scorers.

DIVISION THREE

Ongar United produced the shock of the day by defeating Blue Star 3-1 with George Lampshire netting twice for Ongar.

The top of the table clash was easily won by unbeaten Little Waltham who beat hosts Hannakins Farm Reserves 5-1, Graham Howson (4) and John Saville the Waltham marksmen.

DIVISION FOUR

At Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves , the referee called the game off due to an unfit pitch.

However, visitors Inter Verlatzi Reserves agreed to play the game and a replacement referee was found and 13 goals were scored with a strong Verlatzi side netting eight of them. Cable (2), White, Wiley and Suggitt netted the Rovers goals.

Felsted and Ferrers Athletic drew 1-1, Adam Layzell gave the home team a half-time lead and Adam Jupp equalised for Ferrers who also missed a penalty.

Sedgwick drew 4-4 with visitors Frenford Reserves , Paul Beard (2), Alan Beard and Pete Brown the Sedgwick scorers.

Shenfield beat Boreham Reserves 4-2. Nick Cook scored both the visitors goals while Bailey netted two of the Shenfield goals.
