EMERGENCY services carried out an extensive search of the Holland-on-Sea coastline after a naked man was reported wandering around the area.
Police contacted Thames Coastguard at Walton at around 3am on Saturday after the man was spotted near the public toilets in Brighton Road.
A spokesman for Thames Coastguard said that the blond-haired man they were looking for had discarded his clothes at various points.
"An extensive search was carried out and the team kept finding pieces of clothing - but not the man himself," he said.
