Great Wakering Rovers need to start picking up some quick wins if they are to finish their first season in the Ryman League Second Division any higher than mid-table.

Rovers were well up the table at one stage, but this was always something of a false position as they had played more games than most of their rivals.

Many have nearly caught up now, but Wakering are desperately in need of an experienced quality finisher to turn some good build-up play into results.

Last weekend was typical of many games. They matched hosts Windsor in just about every department - but ended up losing 1-0.

Tomorrow's hosts Cheshunt are below Eddie Nash's side in the table, but unless they can improve in front of goal Wakering might be grateful to obtain a share of the spoils.
