Foster carers are being urgently sought by Essex social services for an 11-year-old boy whose mother can no longer look after him.
The county council says around 800 children in Essex need foster care. Most will return to their families, but some need long term care. An event on long term fostering will be held at County Hall, Chelmsford on March 14. Details: 0800 801 530.
