A woman who pleaded guilty to smuggling drugs into the Middle East was today (Tuesday) due to stand trial.
Anna Bartlett, 22, from Rochford, has already admitted bringing cocaine and hashish into the Emirates, but denied intending to use, sell or trade it.
She is one of five Britons to stand trial.
The three women and two men, held in custody since they were arrested in Dubai in November, could face the death penalty if convicted.
