Tiptree's own internet cafe - Sip'n'Surf in Church Road - is celebrating its first birthday this weekend.
Proprietor, Rob Blyth said they see a wide range of ages use the facilities although most are aged over 21.
Facilities include computer courses, web site design and management, on-line gaming and themed evenings.
Rob who has children of his own is keen to see more youngsters use the facilities.
The cafe is open 9am to 5pm every day except Sunday and until 9pm on Wednesdays.
