For 40 years without fail, a woman's former lodger has sent her an Easter egg.
Violet Brannan, 83, of Bramston Green, Witham, took in teenager Mick Hart as a lodger in 1960 when he was studying at Braintree College of Education.
And every Easter since, Mr Hart,of King's Lynn, has sent her a letter about what he has been up to during the year, along with an egg.
"He's married now and has a son, but he never forgets me," she said.
