Workers at New Holland tractor plant in Basildon are planning to strike for a further two days next week in their fight against poor pay and conditions.
Production line workers are planning to stage yet more one-day strikes on Monday, April 23, and Wednesday, April 25, over a pay offer rejected by 92 per cent of workers.
The action comes after a series of 24-hour walkouts by workers at both the Cranes Farm Road site, in Basildon, and the company's other Essex base in West Thurrock.
Dave Vos, plant convenor and chief negotiator, said: "We are not taking any action this week.
"We are hoping the company will consider its position and listen to the people and make a decision."
