A 22-year-old woman has appeared before Colchester magistrates today (Thursday) charged with murdering her husband.
Nicola Meachen, a care assistant from Cliff Road, Dovercourt, was charged following an incident in Harwich on Tuesday.
She has been remanded in custody until April 27. Stephen Meachen, 30, was found in a Dovercourt flat on Tuesday by police officers.
