THE round Tendring bike ride in aid of the Little Haven Children's Hospice has been postponed in the name of safety.
The ride organised by the Clacton and North East Essex Friends will now be held in late August or September.
The pedal power fund raiser was to have been in June but because of the diversions from the A133 putting all the coastal traffic through Little Clacton organisers gave decided to reschedule.
Derek Arber said,"We thought that in the interest of safety for the riders we should postpone the event rather than route them into the heavy traffic."
