BATTLE plans are being drawn up against bogus callers.
Police officers, Neighbourhood Watch representatives and other expert speakers will be among about 300 people expected to attend a council of war at Essex Police headquarters in Chelmsford.
The special conference, aimed at reducing the menace of callers who steal and con people out of cash, will be held on Saturday, April 28.
