Great Wakering Rovers face a hectic schedule of three games in five days when they visit relegation strugglers Leyton Pennant in the Ryman League Second Division tomorrow (Saturday).
On Monday they host Schweppes Essex Senior League Burnham Ramblers bidding for a semi-final spot in the Essex Thames-side Trophy.
Then, 48 hours later on Wednesday, it's back to the League with a long trip down to Horsham in Sussex.
The village side, however, are enjoying a fine finale to their first season at Second Divsion level. Their good form in the Ryman sees them still battling for a top six spot and they are continuing to bid for two outside knockout competitions as they are also through to the overall quarter-finals in the East Anglian Cup.
