BAC Ltd - the Harold Wood replacement windows and doors market leader - has announced a major shake-up.

The new look BAC will see the decentralisation of its customer sales and service arrangements to three business units - in Romford (Harold Wood), Dartford and Maidenhead.

A spokesman for the company said the changes would mean some staff redundancies, but it was hoped that as many staff as possible would be re-deployed to Harold Wood and Dartford. Recruitment was already underway for the new Maidenhead unit.

The company, which completed a move from Eastern Avenue in Romford to a new site in Farringdon Avenue several years ago, has been operating for over thirty years, progressing from very small beginnings in Upminster and Brentwood to becoming one of the biggest names in its field.

New Managing Director Alastair McCrae, who joined the board in January after a long career in top level business management, says the company has built a big reputation for the quality and installation of its products as well as customer satisfaction.

"With a new, dynamic and dedicated team of senior directors in place, who bring considerable managerial experience and expertise, and with BAC's new structure I have every confidence that we will drive the business forward and achieve even higher levels of customer satisfaction for quality and service" he said.
