A video reconstruction of Danielle Jones's final moments before her suspected abduction was today (Friday) being shown to pupils at her school.

By showing the Crimewatch footage police hope to get vital information from youngsters at St Clere's school, Stanford-le-Hope.

More than 200 people from all over the country called police about the 15-year-old's disappearance after watching the BBC1 programme on Wednesday night.

Yet still there have been no positive sightings of the teenager.

A police spokeswoman said: "Although we had a very good response from the public after Crimewatch we still haven't found that vital clue we are looking for.

"We are focusing on the children at St Clere's school as they may have seen something and until now thought nothing of it."

Police are sure the answer to the teenager's disappearance on Monday June 18 can be found locally.

The police spokeswoman said: "People don't just disappear off the face of the earth. Someone may have seen her later on the day she vanished - we think the answer lies locally."

Police today also denied finding any pieces of school uniform linking to Danielle.
