Clacton is being immortalised on film after a camera crew made a film about a trip to the town.
The film entitled A Trip to the Seaside focused on a family making a day trip down to the sunshine coast and taking in all that Clacton has to offer.
Aimed at pre-school aged children, the film was shot by London-based film company Full Monty Productions in the town on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Five children and three adults were shown making the trip seeing among other things the pier, amusements and a Punch and Judy show filmed on the West Beach.
Producer Matthew Rose said: "I think the director had filmed here before and he knew that the Clacton seafront was traditional and had some great amusements and rides.
"The pier was lovely and it was everything you would like for a family day out."
The film is due to be out later on this year in major shops throughout the country. It will also feature old and new songs for children to sing along to.
