Youth nuisance at Colchester's largest estate is set to come under the spotlight at a special meeting.
Police, ward councillors, housing officers and welfare officers are set to meet and discuss ongoing problems at Greenstead estate.
The aim of the multi-agency meeting, which is not open to the public, is to find ways of cutting down youth nuisance in the area.
Julie Young (Lab, St Andrew's) said they would be discussing use of anti-social behaviour contracts, where young people enter into a contract about their conduct. And if they break it, they get dealt with more sternly by the courts.
She said areas currently experiencing problems were Ferdinand Walk, Macbeth Close, and the Cypress Grove/Honeysuckle Way area where problems have been ongoing.
The meeting will take place on July 25. but is only for the agencies taking part.
