Remember this face? It belongs to the man who at one stage was reputed to have the fastest serve in tennis.
And this week one-time Wimbledon finalist Roscoe Tanner served up a blast from the past for members of Frinton Tennis Club.
Tanner, who lost to Bjorn Borg in the 1979 final, was back in action for a Girobank Tour event at the Holland Road grounds.
After beating James Thomas 7-6, 7-5 in the first round of the men's singles, he bowed out after losing to Stuart Rhodes 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.
Match referee Claude Wallace said: "It was a special occasion because many of our members remember watching Roscoe. It was nice for them to have a chat with him and get autographs."
