PUPILS have said goodbye to their temporary home - but do not know what the future holds for them.
Colchester's Sixth Form College stepped in to provide a temporary home from home for staff and pupils from St George's Infants School after the school was closed in June due to the detection of mystery gas.
Headteacher Valerie Hollanders said tests to discover the source of the gas at the school building in Barrington Road, Colchester, were still ongoing.
She said: "I don't really know what will happen in September, but all parents will be informed by letter during the six-week holidays of exactly where we will be.
"We are hoping we will be at the school. We don't know what the tests will find so this is something I cannot answer at the moment."
