More than £1.5m of drugs bound for the south east of England were seized in a police swoop.
Nine people were arrested yesterday (Thursday) after 20 kilos of cocaine and 200 kilos of cannabis were seized during a multi-force operation led by the National Crime Squad and Hertfordshire Police.
Officers arrested eight men and one female, aged between 20 and 50, from several addresses in west Essex, London, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire
They are currently being held at various police stations outside London.
