Young members of a dance school have danced the day away in aid of charity.

Youngsters from the Bebop dance school in Comac Yard, Old Road, Clacton, danced throughout the day to raise money for disadvantaged children in the Third World.

The group, who were aged from three to 14, were sponsored and 65 members took part.

Some of the younger children danced until 12pm, while the others danced on until 3.30pm.

They did all kinds of dance styles including tap modern and ballet as well as performing some of the routines for their up and coming shows.

That evening, members took part in a sponsored sleepover.

Clair Talbot, who runs the school, said: "It went really well. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I have never seen them so bubbly and they worked really hard."

The group are preparing to put on a show at Clacton airshow at the end of August and will host a show next May.
