Emergency services were today (Monday) called out after a car and boat trailer got stuck in the sand on the beach at Holland-on-Sea.
It is believed the owners got into difficulty after lowering a boat into the water at Haven Avenue, near Clacton Sailing Club.
Police, firefighters and Clacton Coatsguards were called out following a distress call from a woman.
Brian Bennett, station officer at Clacton Fire Station, said that no one was in danger or trapped but the services helped free the vehicle.
The incident happened at about 8.25am.
