Ipswich Town fans are being kept in suspense over the identity of the Blues' latest transfer target - an international midfielder who plays in Spain.
Boss George Burley revealed on Thursday a fee had been agreed with a club in La Liga and terms are being negotiated with the player's agent.
After stressing that his target is not Spanish, he said: "We are a long way down the line in talks with the player, who is an outstanding international."
The fee in question is also a matter of speculation, with figures ranging from £3.5 million to £7 million being mooted by different sources.
