Starss of stage, screen and television are due to turn out in force at a memorial service in London for Frinton actor Jack Watling, who died earlier this year aged 78.
The service is due to be held at the actors' church, St Paul's in Covent Garden, on September 13 starting at noon.
It has been organised by the Royal Theatrical Fund, the actors' charity, which he chaired since 1986.
Mr Watling, who lived in Holland Road, was responsible for saving the seaside town's flagging summer theatre. He was a veteran of more than 50 films and made countless stage and TV performances.
