Parts of Hadleigh Castle could be lost for ever if land continues to slip, experts have warned.
Heavy rain over recent months has caused serious landslides to the west of the main tower at the landmark, experts revealed today (Tuesday).
It is feared that if the bad weather continues, the castle, which helps make up the borough name of Castle Point, could be seriously damaged and parts could be lost for good.
The castle is run by English Heritage and owned by Hadleigh's Salvation Army.
