A dream visit to Australia has come true after a woman scooped top prize on the National Lottery Winning Lines.

Teresa Debenham became the third person in the current BBC television series to have won the once in a lifetime three-weeks round the world trip for two.

She plans to take her husband Roger with her but son Jason, 20, will have to stay behind.

Mrs Debenham, 45, who had previously only ever won a pair of curtains in a crossword competition, will be back on BBC television tomorrow (Wednesday) evening for Winning Lines Extra to try to win spending money for the trip.

She will face a second Wonderwall when each correct answer is worth £200 with a jackpot of £5,000 if she answers all 20 questions again.

Admitting to still being in a daze, Mrs Debenham said she was worried she would be even more nervous than she had been on her first appearance.

"I can't believe I've won. It's beyond my wildest expectations," said Mrs Debenham, revealing she and her husband had always wanted to go to Australia but it was always too expensive and too far.

Hurrah! Winning ways for Teresa Debenham
