Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Liam George will be in the Colchester United line-up to face Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.
Kemal Izzet - in line for a shock return?
And there could also be a shock return for injured midfield ace Kemal Izzet.
Luton striker George signed on the dotted line at Layer Road today after a couple of weeks of negotiations behind the scenes.
A small fee was involved and the nimble silver booted goal-getter will go straight into the U's squad for tomorrow's big Loftus Road clash.
George said "I am right out of the picture at Luton and I am desperate to kick-start my career elsewhere. To be able to do that in a higher division with a club like Colchester is a great challenge for me."
The Luton-born striker has been training on and off with the U's squad during the last two weeks.
U's boss Steve Whitton said: "I have always liked George. He has always performed well against us in the past and is a good little player."
Sadly for Whitton there is still no news regarding the possible £70,000 transfer of Cardiff duo Kevin Nugent and Matt Brazier.
He said: "Unfortunately none of those two will be in my squad tomorrow."
There is great news concerning midfield pair Bowry and Izzet, however.
Bowry will be fit despite suffering a heavy knock in Tuesday's FA Cup replay at York, while Izzet has made an amazing recovery from an ankle ligament injury that was expected to keep him out for several weeks.
Whitton said: "Bobby and Kem are a perfect example of the spirit that is currently sweeping through my squad. They are both important players to me and its great to have them available for tomorrow."
Skipper Simon Clark, sent-off on his return from injury in Wednesday's reserve team game with Gillingham, is recalled to the squad, but Gavin Johnson is almost certainly ruled out with a troublesome groin injury.
Whitton said: "QPR are certain to be a tough test for us. Both clubs are only a handful of points away from the promotion play-off spots and it's important that we keep our sights set on that."
Defender Joe Dunne, who injured his knee last Saturday, has been booked into hospital on December 10 for surgery.
