A Chadwell St Mary club staged a grand reopening on Saturday after hard work from volunteers and donations from generous local businesses.
St Mary's Hall in Longhouse Road - formerly Greenan Hall - will provide a variety of martial arts activities for young people and adults every weekday evening from this week, including kickboxing, Tai Boxing and self-defence.
The opening took place at 2pm on Saturday, after months of work to renovate the council-owned building.
