Police are looking for a youth in connection with an incident in Sonters Down, Rettendon, during which a car windscreen was broken.
The suspect is described as being a 14-15 year-old white man, of medium build, six feet tall and with brushed back blond hair.
He was wearing a cream coloured T-shirt, black jeans and white trainers.
