A widow has made a desperate appeal to thieves who stole her cherished bike.

The limited edition silver and pale blue Decathlon women's mountain bike was a present from her late husband and was taken from the front garden of her home.

Ginny Richardson, of Winchester Road, Frinton, said: "It's not how much the bike was worth in cash terms, it's how much it meant to me."

She pleaded to anyone who knew where it was to contact police.
