With just three Saturdays remaining in the Shepherd Neame Essex Cricket League promotion and relegation issues are hotting up in all divisions.
Division One sees both Westcliff and Hadleigh involved in the fight to go up while both Billericay and Old Southendian look doomed.
Only a miracle can save bottom of the table Southendian now as they trail Billericay by 22 points and look sure for more woe from tomorrow's clash at Chalkwell Park with second-placed Westcliff.
Westcliff are currently 17 points behind top dogs Ilford, but just eight clear of Hadleigh, who have home advantage for their clash with Billericay.
In the Second Division Leigh, standing second, face a make-or-break trip to leaders Hornchurch, who currently head them by 33 points.
Up in the Premier, Orsett are close to confirming their top flight status for another year and will look for further reward from their tough trip to third placed Wanstead.
